Together with the guide, we will go a fascinating journey to South Crete!
First, we will pass the Askifa Plateau, then cross the mountain range and make a stop to drink coffee, eat a local speciality — sfakiannopita, admire the stunning views of the southern coast of the Sfakya region and the Gorge Imbros.

Sfaquie is said to have the highest mountains, the most remote villages and the proudest, independent inhabitants. You will learn about what a Cretan vendetta is and why these places could not be conquered by the Turks, the Venetians or the Germans.

After meeting the village of Hora Sfakion, we will go by boat to the village of Lytro, which can be reached by water. Lytro is of Crete’s most secluded places, conquering its snow-white houses, the clearest sea and as if floating in the airboats. There are no big hotels, crowded streets and cars.
