If the weather becomes unsuitable during any day trip, the tour-leader has the authority to make any alterations to the program to best suit the needs of the group depending the current weather conditions. The original program is followed as closely as possible.
Important to have: Comfortable shoes, Comfortable clothes, Sunglasses and Hat, Money for souvenirs, drinks, lunch/dinner. The minimum age requirement for alcohol consumption is 18 years of age
To visit the Monastery, you must wear modest clothes: for women – skirt/dress under your knees and covered shoulders, for a man – trousers, T-shirt with long sleeves.
Health issues:
If any participant suffers from any severe allergy (e.g. to bee stings, food allergies/intolerances) or has medical/health issues we need to be aware of, it is important to let us know in advance. This is clearly a safety measure, personal information is by no means violated and we exercise all discretion.
Insurance:

Each participant is advised to take out health/travel insurance before travelling to Crete.

Itinerary
1. Tasting local wines in the Monastery of the Holy Trinity
09:00 – Departure from your hotel:
We will begin our tour with a convenient transfer from your hotel in Chania. The departure time is flexible and can be adjusted according to your preferences.
09:30 – Visit to the Monastery of the Holy Trinity:
Our first destination is the historic Monastery of the Holy Trinity. Here, you can admire the beautiful architecture, learn about its history, and participate in a wine tasting of locally produced wines. You will discover the winemaking process and sample several varieties of unique Cretan wines.
2. Prophet Elias Hill Viewpoint
11:00 – Prophet Elias Hill Viewpoint:
Next, we will head to the viewpoint of Prophet Elias Hill, offering breathtaking views of Chania and its surroundings. This is the perfect place for photos and enjoying Crete’s natural beauty.
3. Local Cafe with Treats.
11:15 – Visit to a cozy café:
After the viewpoint, we will stop at a local café. Here, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or freshly squeezed juice, try local sweets, and relax a bit.
4. Stroll through the Old Town of Chania
12:00 – Walk through the old town of Chania:
Our tour continues with a stroll through the old town of Chania. You will explore the narrow streets, historic buildings, and charming shops. We will visit the central market where you can purchase local products and souvenirs while learning about the history and culture of this beautiful city.
14:00 – Return to the hotel:
At the end of our tour, we will bring you back to your hotel, filled with impressions and new knowledge about Chania and its culture.
